Making a successful singles connection

2
If you have serious doubts about the relationship, do not fool yourself into believing that your partner will somehow magically change once you "get married" or "move in together." If you find yourself hoping that they will become less moody, less stingy, less angry, less jealous, or more loving, you are running a big risk of being disappointed and will most likely be headed towards divorce. If the potential for change is important to you, look for this trait BEFORE you commit yourself to the relationship, not after.

Parental relationship soured over interracial romance

My problem is my Mom. How can I have any normal relationship with her? When I try to be open with her about my feelings, my needs, or the relationship, she acts unaffected and uninterested. Then when I withdraw and have nothing to do with her and keep my conversation to myself, she becomes hurt and tries to guilt-trip me. My Mom is putting me into a situation where no matter what I do, I can't win or please her. Please help me!

The real purpose of a relationship

I want to share information that I believe will inspire you to want better for yourselves in relationships, and be better for yourselves from your relationships to your communities and to the world. At the very least it will cause you to think, which might be better than someone lambasting you constantly without offering any solutions.

What makes a male a man?

To women, simply being male does not entitle you to become a card carrying member of the Manhood Club. There are specific characteristics and qualities that women look for before they proudly refer to you as their "man."

The smart way to choose a lover

Sex is a pleasurable experience, which helps a couple to openly share feelings and emotions in the most intimate way. However, if your feelings about sex are very different from your partner's, sex will not be the binding glue that should be, and these differences may cause frustration and resentment.

Gross and disgusting dating behaviours

"I was talking to an old boyfriend and he asked like he always does: "whatever happened to us?" said Rhonda, a 33 year old divorced single mother pensively. "I reflected way back when, to an incident in a shrimp and salad bar restaurant with him crunching on the shrimp without peeling the shell off first. He then swallowed it whole. I remember him complaining about how tough the shrimp were."

Women can ruin relationships with some disclosures

I think this female style of communication is a way that bonds us and brings us closer to others. Which means this communication style is fine with other women when we get together and talk about family and work. But it is absolutely positively the wrong way to communicate with your romantic partner when it comes to the sexual pleasures you've enjoyed before he came on the scene!

What do women really want from men

1
Shy, quiet guys usually don't have much to say and women find this boring. Watch some of the "player" types and how they work women! Observe their witty banter, engaging jokes, humorous stories. They ask women for their opinion, they jump around and talk about lots of different subjects which all work together to keep women's minds active.

Breaking up and divorce can sometimes hurt

It hurts, but the hurt is not endless. Time is the ultimate healer. After a few weeks the sharp pains turn into a dull ache, and after a few months you will hopefully be able to take a step back and realistically assess benefits gained from the association.
